In a recent revelation from a brain scan, Kim Kardashian has discovered she is experiencing low brain activity, a condition doctors believe is linked to long-term stress, according to the Nov. 27 episode of The Kardashians.
The reality star visited celebrity brain specialist Dr. Daniel Amen alongside Scott Disick for updated scans to assess her overall brain health. Kardashian, 45, said the appointment was part of her ongoing efforts to monitor her wellbeing.
Dr. Amen — who previously appeared on the show in 2022 to examine Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner — uses advanced brain imaging techniques in his practice. During the consultation, he assured Kim that her scan showed no increased risk of Alzheimer’s and described her general mental health as positive, with no significant signs of anxiety, depression, or severe stress.
However, he highlighted several areas in the frontal lobes showing reduced activity, explaining that this pattern can make stress harder to manage. The finding came as a surprise to Kim, who is currently under pressure while preparing for the California bar exam.
Kardashian admitted that the results were concerning, especially given the intense stress she has faced in recent years — from demanding legal studies to the emotional strain that followed her 2022 divorce from Ye (formerly Kanye West).
This episode follows another revelation shared on the Nov. 20 broadcast, where Kim told her sister Kourtney that a Prenuvo scan detected a long-standing brain aneurysm. She consulted neurosurgeon Dr. Keith Black, who recommended further imaging and warned that stress can increase the risk of aneurysm complications.
