Fatima Bhutto, a well-known author, recently tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Graham. On her wedding day, the granddaughter of former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto radiated in all-white attire. Her brother, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Jr., posted the good news on Twitter. Now Fatima has revealed the touching details of her special day.

Fatima Bhutto posted a slideshow of photos from her wedding, along with the caption, “Yesterday, Graham and I married in a small nikkah ceremony in my family home, 70 Clifton.” The ceremony took place in my grandfather’s libraries, one of my favorite places in the world, when my brother Zulfikar tied our grandmother’s Imam Zamin on me.

She continued, “Behind us were the original People’s Party flag placed by my grandfather himself and photos of my aunts, uncles, and father when they were young.” I’ve never been one for lavish weddings, but in light of everyone else’s hardships, we’ve decided to put an end to all future celebrations.

I missed my dear father very much, but he was right here with us,” Fatima reflected. Since everyone there deeply cared for Papa, I could literally feel his presence. Please remember us in your prayers, and we appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Her brother, Zulfiqar, had previously posted congratulations to the couple on social media. I’m delighted to relay some good news on behalf of our late father, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, and the whole Bhutto family. “Today in our house, 70 Clifton, my sister Fatima and Graham got married in a small nikkah ceremony,” he posted on his Twitter account.

Family and friends of Fatima were present for the ceremony, which took place in our grandfather’s library. We agreed that it wouldn’t be right to throw a big party because of the hardships our fellow citizens were going through. He also asked that the pair be prayed for. According to reports, only very close friends and relatives were invited to the celebration.
