Due to Mirzapur and Tandav controversy, Amazon Prime Video has chosen to postpone their next Big Fat Indian Series indefinitely. The second season of The Family Man, which was scheduled to begin streaming on February 12, has been postponed. The trailer that was scheduled to be released on January 19 has been pushed back until the new streaming date, if it ever comes.

A close associate of the project confirms this heartbreaking news, saying, “It is real. To the displeasure of Manoj Bajpayee and the co-director Raj-DK, The Family Man Season 2 has been postponed indefinitely. In India, Amazon’s reputation has taken a battering since two of its most popular series, Mirzapur and Tandav, have come under scrutiny for allegedly infringing on people’s religious beliefs. It’s not a good fit for a large property like “The Family Man,” according to Amazon.

“You’re aware of it,”. I’m aware of it. But nobody knows what causes the people to have an unpleasant reaction? The Family Man is a program that Amazon would want to hold off on releasing until a better moment has come.

Also, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have nothing to do with the postponing of the film, according to the source. Amazon has received the whole second season of The Family Man from Raj and DK. They thank them both. They had no part in the decision to put the series on hold. Whenever Amazon chooses to start streaming the show, Raj and DK are ready for it.

With nothing even faintly problematic in the second season, the co-directors have no plans to change a thing.
