Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is reportedly stepping into the horror genre with her first-ever full-fledged horror film. After exploring various genres throughout her career, the actress has finally found a script. This script convinced her to take on a dedicated horror project.
According to industry sources, Jacqueline had been searching for the right horror story for quite some time. The upcoming film reportedly stood out because of its unique combination of horror, emotional storytelling, and music. As a result, it offers a complete cinematic experience rather than a conventional genre film.
A source close to the project revealed that Jacqueline was particularly drawn to the film’s blend of suspense, emotion, and entertainment. This makes it an exciting addition to her filmography.
The yet-to-be-titled movie will feature Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. Two male actors are already finalized to star alongside her. However, details regarding the cast, director, and storyline are being kept under wraps for now.
The project will be produced by Khyati Madaan’s Not Out Entertainment and is expected to be mounted on a grand scale. Moreover, an official announcement is anticipated in the coming weeks.
Sources further suggest that a promotional song and teaser have already been filmed. Meanwhile, the cast is currently undergoing workshops in preparation for production. Principal photography is expected to commence by the end of this month.
Although Jacqueline previously appeared in the horror-comedy Bhooth Police, this marks her first venture into a pure horror film. Unlike her earlier project, the upcoming movie is expected to focus entirely on delivering an intense horror experience.
On the professional front, Jacqueline was last seen in Housefull 5. She is now gearing up for the release of Welcome To The Jungle, scheduled to hit cinemas on June 26, 2026.
