Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly received another death threat, prompting swift action from Mumbai Police. According to local media, the threat was sent via WhatsApp to the official number of the Worli Transport Department.
The alarming message claimed that a bomb would be used to blow up Salman Khan’s car and warned of an attack at his residence. Law enforcement officials have registered a case and are actively investigating the source of the threat.
Given Salman Khan’s history of receiving threats—many allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—authorities are taking the situation seriously. Security around the actor may be further strengthened if needed.
This latest scare adds to a series of security concerns surrounding the actor. In recent years, Khan has been the target of multiple threats, including a 2023 email from an individual claiming to be gangster Goldy Brar, and a threatening note left outside his house in 2022. Additionally, two people were detained last year for trying to enter his Panvel farmhouse using fake IDs.
The threats are believed to stem from the actor’s alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, an issue of deep sensitivity for the Bishnoi community, who regard the blackbuck as sacred.
In a recent press conference, Salman Khan addressed the ongoing threats. “I have full faith in God and Allah,” he said. “I believe I will live for as long as I’m meant to. I’ve accepted whatever comes my way.”
Khan shared that his life has become increasingly restricted, primarily revolving around his home in Galaxy Apartments, Bandra, and film sets. While he feels a sense of safety in public, he admitted to feeling vulnerable when alone.
