Popular Pakistani YouTuber Ducky Bhai has broken his silence following his arrest earlier this year, sharing his side of the story in a powerful vlog that has gone viral across social media.
The YouTuber, who has 9.58 million subscribers, detailed his difficult journey of the last three and a half months, speaking openly about the emotional and mental challenges faced by him and his family. He revealed that the situation began on August 16, shortly after a family gathering, just as he was preparing to attend an international event.
In the video, Ducky Bhai said he would fully cooperate with the legal system and respect any verdict given in his case.
“Whatever the court decides, I will accept it,” he stated.
The vlog has crossed 11 million views on YouTube and sparked massive discussion on social media platforms. Soon after the video’s release, several Pakistani celebrities voiced public support for him after hearing his account of alleged mistreatment.
Background of the Case
Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, was detained at Lahore Airport in August by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) while he was reportedly attempting to leave the country. His name was added to the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL).
The arrest took place after the NCCIA filed a case under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016, along with multiple sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
According to official documents, the case was registered under:
- Section 13 (Electronic Forgery)
- Section 14 (Electronic Fraud)
- Section 25 (Spamming)
- Section 26 (Spoofing) of PECA
- Section 294-B and Section 420 of PPC
Authorities have accused the YouTuber of promoting gambling and betting applications that allegedly defrauded users and generated millions of rupees. This is not the first time Ducky Bhai has faced controversy.
Earlier this year, he also reportedly received protective bail from the Lahore High Court in a reckless driving case.
