Deepika took to Instagram to post the first photo of their baby girl, who looked adorable in a red ethnic outfit, along with a heartfelt message explaining the significance of her name: “Dua means prayer because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.”
The couple welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024, initially announcing her birth through a joint post that read, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika and Ranveer.” Since her arrival, Deepika has taken a break from work to embrace motherhood, with her last public appearance promoting her upcoming movie Kalki 2898 AD.
Ranveer, however, has been actively participating in film promotions, including the release of Singham Again, where he revealed a playful nod to their daughter, calling her “Baby Simmba.” With humor, he also shared that he handles nighttime baby duties, saying, “My duty is to take care of the baby at night, hence I am here.” The pair’s loving updates and heartfelt interactions have delighted fans, blending their cinematic world with this new chapter of family life.
