Speculations on Their Marriage Addressed
Bollywood veteran Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have been at the center of divorce rumors, with reports suggesting trouble in their 37-year marriage. However, Sunita’s manager, Saadia Solkar, has now dismissed these claims as completely false.
The rumors gained momentum after Indian media linked Govinda to a 30-year-old Marathi actress. Neither Govinda nor Sunita had publicly addressed these reports—until now.
Sunita’s manager categorically refuted the separation claims, labeling them as baseless while declining to comment further. Meanwhile, Govinda also brushed off speculation, emphasizing that he is currently focused on his upcoming film projects.
No Legal Action Taken
Earlier reports suggested that Sunita had issued a legal separation notice months ago, though no further legal action has been confirmed. When asked about the rumors, Govinda remained tight-lipped, stating, “There are only business talks going on… I am in the process of starting my films.”
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, acknowledged some family tensions but insisted they are working towards a resolution. Additionally, entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani claimed that while Govinda is eager to reconcile, Sunita remains uncertain.
Krushna Abhishek Denies Divorce Claims
Amid the speculation, Govinda’s nephew, comedian Krushna Abhishek, also weighed in, dismissing the divorce rumors and assuring fans that the couple will not part ways.
Previously, Sunita had revealed in an interview that she and Govinda live separately due to his demanding work schedule. However, she later clarified, “Nobody can separate us.”
Married since 1987, Govinda and Sunita share two children, and despite the ongoing speculation, the couple’s bond appears to remain intact.
