Renowned Pakistani actor Fahad Mustafa has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Pakistani actor to receive awards from both Houses of the UK Parliament.
At a special ceremony hosted by Multicultural Britain, Mustafa was presented with the Diversity and Cultural Impact Award by British MP Naz Shah at the House of Commons. Later, he received the Global Cultural Unity Award from British Minister Lord Wajid Khan at the House of Lords.
Taking to Instagram to celebrate the moment, Mustafa shared his gratitude and pride, stating:
“Our Stories Really Matter! This recognition is not just mine—it belongs to every artist, dreamer, and storyteller in Pakistan who dares to dream big and cross boundaries. It is a testament to the power of our culture, our stories, and the unyielding spirit of unity that makes us shine on the global stage.”
This honor comes shortly after fellow Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was celebrated with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Parliament last month, further highlighting the growing global recognition of Pakistani talent.
Known for his groundbreaking work in Urdu cinema and television, Fahad Mustafa has captivated audiences with projects like the hit drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, which shattered viewership records. Despite the immense demand for a sequel, Mustafa recently confirmed that no plans for a follow-up are currently in motion.
Fahad Mustafa’s remarkable achievement not only underscores his individual excellence but also shines a spotlight on the rich cultural narratives emerging from Pakistan.
