Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has come out strongly in support of Hania Aamir, slamming Indian outrage over the Pakistani star’s presence in Diljit Dosanjh’s latest Bollywood film, Sardaar Ji 3. Speaking candidly on her YouTube channel Busy B!, Bushra criticized the reported ban and controversy surrounding the film in India.
“Why are Indians so threatened by Hania?” she questioned. “She’s a young, incredibly talented actor. Just because she’s Pakistani doesn’t mean her work should be blocked.”
Bushra Applauds Hania’s Dedication and Professionalism
Bushra, who previously starred alongside Hania in the drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, praised the younger actress’s professionalism on set, describing her as hardworking, focused, and committed to her craft—regardless of weather conditions or pay scale.
“She works just as hard in extreme heat or cold,” Bushra said. “Whether someone earns 10 rupees or 10 million, work is work. Hania shows up without complaint and gives her 100%.”
Addressing Indian Audiences: “Don’t Be Childish”
The Deemak actress didn’t hold back in her message to Indian audiences, calling the backlash an overreaction to a harmless act of cross-border collaboration.
“To my Indian friends: please grow up,” she said. “You have immense talent of your own. Why feel so insecure over one Pakistani actress? If producers are investing millions, why let petty politics interfere?”
Bushra concluded her remarks by urging the Indian film industry to uphold artistic integrity above politics:
“Have some principles. Art should bring people together, not divide them.”
