Have you heard of something unusual? The appearance of Fawad Khan Let’s be honest: as time passes, we see less and less of him, and that’s just not fair. What’s even more uncommon than seeing Fawad, though? Both Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan were spotted. Yes, you’re quite correct. It’s as if the main characters from Humsafar agreed among themselves to make viewers want more, despite the fact that the show ended airing more than a decade ago. No worries, though. It probably makes the rare occasions of sightings even more meaningful.
Recently, the pair was spotted looking gorgeous at the workshop of designer Sadaf Fawad Khan. It all began with a silhouette tease and progressed to some great individual images, ending in the one picture that made many Pakistanis smile again. Yes, Fawad and Mahira posed for photos together, and the internet is currently in a state of shock.
One X user proclaimed, “Everybody, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan!” as though announcing the arrival of Lollywood royalty. “We aren’t surviving this,” stated another X user and supporter of the couple. An additional Twitter user said, “Seeing Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan together does wonders for my serotonin levels.”
Some people were so moved that they started writing poetry about it online. The show moved one Twitter user so much that they felt compelled to write, “Timeless allure, Fawad and Mahira’s reign; their scorching chemistry sets hearts ablaze, a fiery flame!” Another X user kept it simple by posting a photo of the two from the session with the caption, “One of the most beautiful pairs,” with a heart-eye emoji at the end.
Together, Fawad and Mahirah presented Sadaf’s new Phir Milenge Bridal Couture line. The photo was accompanied by the comment, “The elegance of this collection intends to capture the essence of the brand’s design ethos: refined and exclusive.” Abdullah Haris did a wonderful job documenting the collection. Congratulations to everyone involved. Pakistanis got a present they didn’t ask for but really needed, and for that, the vast majority of us are eternally grateful.
The pair’s final cinematic appearance together was in Bilal Lashari’s The Legend of Maula Jatt. Neelofar, a film starring Fawad Khan and Mahira, will hit theaters shortly. “I had so much fun working on this project with Fawad,” the Raees star earlier said. Time had passed so slowly. Unlike the characters we follow in Maula Jatt, Neelofar focuses solely on these two individuals. All of our scenes in Neelofar feature only the two of us. It was wonderful to work again with Fawad, this time as an older, wiser performer and person.
She went on to say that the film’s director was as enthusiastic as the fans about her and Fawad’s chemistry onscreen. My boss has always said that the two of you work well together. I inquired as to the basis for his belief. He simply comments that it strikes a good balance. Mahira expressed her desire for the group to retain its “chemistry” as Humsafar.
