Twinkle Khanna, an actress-turned-writer, regularly has her followers in stitches with her humorous tweets and Instagram postings. In honor of Father’s Day, she posted a heartfelt message to her husband, actor Akshay Kumar, on Sunday afternoon. Aarav and Nitara are Akshay and Twinkle’s two children. Twinkle, who is now in the UK for her studies, posted a photo of herself and Akshay to Instagram along with a witty caption.

Besides the adorable photo, Twinkle also included a touching Father’s Day note for Akshay. She clarified her motivation for marrying Akshay as well. Her essay explained, “Part of the reasons for marrying Mr. K revolved around knowing he would be a fantastic parent after observing him cope with his family, and the other was the desire that my future children acquire some of his fine genes.
