Pakistan ex-sprinter has blasted Pakistan’s second-Test strategy against Australia at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Hosts were bowled out for 148 in 53 overs on the third day courtesy to Mitchell Starc’s reverse-swinging mastery. A total of 489 runs were in Australia’s favor when the third day of play was concluded.

It was said by the Rawalpindi Express in an interview with a local news program that “this will happen when you play with Fear giving positive words would not assist you.”

In the opinion of Shoaib Akhtar, making pitches that are too sluggish is bad for our cricket.

“Who wants to play here if you build such wickets?”

With Australia on 505-8 at the end of Day 3, Cummins opted to bat.

Shahid Shah Afridi took the wicket of Mitchell Starc on the second ball of the day, although he didn’t add to his overnight score of 28.

Both Ashraf and Sajid Khan were excellent, taking 2-55 from 21 overs and 2-167 from 57 respectively.

Even so, Cummins (34 not out) and Swepson (15) made 51 for the ninth wicket before declaring, and it was their only victory.
