The nominees for the 95th Academy Awards for OSCAR include RRR, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and others.

The anticipation for the 2023 Academy Awards is mounting, and on Tuesday, the Academy announced the nominees in 10 categories, including best documentary, best foreign language film, and best documentary short subject. RRR and The Last Film Show, both from India, are two of the 92 foreign movies being considered.

Award nominees include Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga for the 2023 Academy Awards.

Due to the fact that the nominees for the best original song have been announced. There is 15 songs total, and one of them is Lift Me Up by Rihanna from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In addition, Lady Gaga has been nominated for her song “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick. With Carolina from Where the Crawdads Sing, Taylor Swift is also contending for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

There are a few Indian films on the Oscars’ shortlist for 2023.
In 2022, RRR became one of India’s highest-grossing films. In 2023, it was one of the few Indian films to advance to the Oscars. SS Rajamouli’s RRR’s Naatu Naatu has been nominated for an award for “Best Original Song.” India’s Last Film Show has made it to the finals of the International Feature Film Category, where it will face off against movies like South Korea’s Decision to Leave, Pakistan’s Joyland, and more.
