Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan returns in Rohit Shetty’s cop series Singham Again, where she plays Singham’s loving wife, Avni Kamat. The Indian Express reports that Khan is reprising her role. Ajay Devgn will also play the bold and courageous DCP Bajirao Singham in the movie.
Devgn used social media to share the movie’s gripping first look at Kapoor. The actor from Jaane Jaan is shown in the picture looking strong and self-assured. “Singham’s strength, fierceness, and power! Welcome, Avni Singham. Devgn hashtagged himself and Kapoor in an appropriately worded description for the photo.
On Instagram, Kapoor, who previously worked with Shetty on popular movies like Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, and Singham Returns, showed her excitement about becoming a part of the Singham Again cast. “The moment has come… “Unifying with the police verse,” she posted on Instagram.
August 15, 2024, is the scheduled release date for Singham Again. In key parts, the film will also feature the renowned ensemble of Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar. The return of the main pair has thrilled the crew. Though specifics about her role are being withheld, the heroine actor will play the female lead.
Singham was the first film in Rohit Shetty’s cop world, and it had two sequels. Padukone, who played Lady Singham in Singham Again, just joined the franchise. In Singham Returns, Kapoor played Avni, the love interest of the main character. Most recently, Kapoor starred alongside Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha. She also wrapped up filming Hansal Mehta’s Netflix series, Jaane Jaan.
