Pakistani TV host Madiha Naqvi has retracted her earlier remarks about the alleged divorce of popular couple Agha Ali and Hina Altaf, explaining that her statement was a “slip of the tongue.”
During a recent episode of her morning show featuring veteran actresses Shagufta Ejaz and Vaneeza Ahmed, Naqvi had mentioned that Agha Ali and Hina Altaf had divorced and were living separately. The comment quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation about the couple’s relationship.
However, Naqvi has since clarified her mistake. In an Instagram story, she responded to reports of her alleged confirmation by questioning her authority to make such personal claims. She acknowledged that she should have been more careful with her words and emphasized that she never makes statements for attention.
Naqvi also expressed her deep respect for Agha Ali and Hina Altaf, stating that she would never intentionally cause them harm. The couple, who married during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, previously faced separation rumors in 2022, which they strongly denied.
