Saim Ayub Claims No. 1 T20 All-Rounder Spot
Pakistan’s rising star Saim Ayub has officially become the world’s No. 1 T20 all-rounder, overtaking India’s Hardik Pandya, who dropped to second place. Ayub’s consistent all-round performances helped him climb four spots, making him the top-ranked all-rounder in the latest ICC update.
Other Pakistani players also made progress:
- Mohammad Nawaz moved up four places to 13th.
- Faheem Ashraf advanced four places to 35th.
Abhishek Sharma Creates World Record in T20 Batting Rankings
On the batting front, India’s Abhishek Sharma made history by becoming the first-ever player to reach 931 rating points in T20I batting, making him the No. 1 T20 batsman in the world.
For Pakistan:
- Sahibzada Farhan jumped 11 spots to reach 13th.
- Babar Azam slipped to 37th.
- Mohammad Rizwan dropped to 41st.
- Fakhar Zaman climbed six places to 60th.
T20 Bowling Rankings: Varun Chakaravarthy on Top
In bowling, India’s Varun Chakaravarthy retained his No. 1 T20 bowler ranking. For Pakistan, there were mixed results:
- Abrar Ahmed slipped to 7th place.
- Shaheen Shah Afridi surged 12 places, securing 13th position after a strong comeback.
