The trailer for Sunny Kaushal’s forthcoming flick Hurdang was released on Wednesday. During the first few seconds of Hurdang’s trailer, we learn that Sunny’s Daddu Thakur and Nushrratt Bharuccha’s character Jhulan have a romantic relationship.

A lot more is going on here than the first couple minutes of the trailer led us to believe. It irritates Daddu, an ambitious IAS applicant, when he learns that educational institutions have caste-based quota policies. Sunny then joins Loha Singh, Vijay Varma’s character, and assumes responsibility for the project. Is there any hope for him? That is still up in the air.

Hurdang is set in Allahabad in the 1990s and seems to be an explosive picture. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is the director and writer of the T-Series production.

“HURDANG” machane aa rahe hain!” Vicky Kaushal posted the trailer of Hurdang on Instagram and wrote. As the caption said, “So proud of you, @sunsunnykhez,” he said.

Sunny’s friends and followers also had a positive reaction to the trailer’s release. “You’re doing OK, Brother… Thank you for your support,” Shashank Khaitan added as an afterword to the post.

It’s going to disclose the truth about the Indian school system, a fan commented. ‘Thanks for depicting the thoughts of every student Sunny Kaushal can’t wait for the picture and of course change should come in our laws I hope atleast by viewing this film change will come,’ read another remark.
