Sanya Malhotra will make her Netflix comeback with this film, which will be her first since her memorable performances in Ludo, Pagglait, and Meenakshi Sundareshwar.

Kathal, starring Sanya Malhotra and Anant Joshi, premiered earlier this week on Netflix and will be the company’s second feature film. This small-town dramedy stars Sanya Malhotra as a young police officer determined to crack the case of missing jackfruits (Kathals) for the sake of her own professional advancement. Yashowardhan Mishra makes his directorial debut with Kathal, which he co-wrote with Ashok Mishra, a renowned and award-winning screenwriter.
