Pakistani actor Imran Abbas returns with another international partnership, eight years after he delighted fans with a cameo in Karan Johar’s 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Abbas will be appearing opposite Simi Chahal, an Indian actor, in Jee Ve Sohneya Jee, his first Punjabi film.
The film’s official trailer aired on January 25 amid tremendous enthusiasm. Thaparr wrote and directed the love story Jee Ve Sohneya Jee, which stars Abbas as the Pakistani guy and Chahal as the Indian girl. Receiving praise for the on-screen connection between the two lead actors, the film promises to be a compelling portrayal of a love that transcends geographical bounds.
Abbas posted a touching message on his Instagram grid, thanking everyone involved in his future production. The actor posted a photo of himself with a white dress shirt, blue suit, and pink turban.
He included a heartfelt message expressing his thoughts on the movie in the post’s description. I place a high value on Jee Ve Sohneya Jee. This is not your average film. “It is a genuine endeavor to further unite two Punjabs and their people,” the Ehraam-e-Junoon actor began.
This is a gift from my team to everyone who believes in the power of love that has no bounds,” he continued. God created us all in his image and likeness, and the greatest gift he has given us is the ability to love one another. “Together, we can bring about change and put an end to the culture of hatred that has already caused immense harm to humanity,” Abbas said, emphasizing the hope that such endeavors bring about enduring peace and unity.
At the end of his message, the celebrity asked his friends and followers to help promote the release of the highly-anticipated film. “I implore you to witness Jee Ve Sohneya Jee on February 16 and lend your support to the filmmakers who are championing this exquisite cause, as well as love and peace,” Abbas wrote.
Abbas and Chahal aren’t the only A-listers in the film’s ensemble cast; Mintu Kapa, Udaya Vakati, Brian Shaw, Aman Bal, and Swaraj Sandhu are also there. The film’s scheduled theatrical release date is February 16.
