Pakistani singer Aima Baig has revealed that her highly anticipated debut album, Guriya, is a deeply personal tribute to her late mother. The singer described the project as an emotional journey of grief, healing, and rediscovering herself through music. “My mother was called Guriya, and it’s still difficult for me to speak about her,” Aima said. “Grief changes with time. She also described the recording process as emotionally intense, saying it involved revisiting old memories and looking through her mother’s belongings.
