Vijay Barse, the brains behind the non-profit organization Slum Soccer in Nagpur, inspired the story of Jhund. Nagraj Manjule’s directorial debut in Bollywood and his first cooperation with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan are featured in the film.
Nagraj Popatrao Manjule’s much-anticipated Jhund film has now released its first song, “Aaya Ye Jhund Hai.” Atul Gogavale, one half of the film’s composer duet, sings the title tune. Ajay-Atul has written the soundtrack for the film.
The song’s lyrics, written by Ajay-Atul, tell the story of a group of young people who march in slow motion to claim their rightful place in the world. Even while the editing and cutting of the music video make it seem gritty and sophisticated, it is not something you would expect from Manjule, based on his prior realistic filmmaking.
“Aaya Ye Jhund Hai” is an upbeat song that is bolstered by the usage of drums in the music. You can understand why it was utilized in the trailer so extensively. As though the Jhund in question are ready to make an important announcement with their appearance on screen, this has the impression of excellent background soundtrack material.
Vijay Barse, the creator of Nagpur’s NGO Slum Soccer, is the inspiration for the film Jhund. Manjule makes his Bollywood directorial debut with this film, as well as his first collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan, the industry’s biggest star.
In theaters on March 4, Jhund is a comedy-drama.
