Post-match, Sania Mirza said goodbye. “Rohan was my first mixed-doubles partner at 14, and we won the nationals,” Sania Mirza said at the event. “I finished my career here and played the final with one of my best friends and partners, 22 years ago. “There’s no better place or person to end my Grand Slam career.”
Sania Mirza added that her son Izhaan made the match more memorable. “It’s truly special to have my four-year-old and my parents here,” she said.
