According to claims in Indian media, Sanjay Dutt has been cast in Atlee’s first Hindi film, Jawan, and if the rumor mill is to be believed, the “Munna Bhai” actor has already started filming with the rest of the cast.
Shahrukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt will reportedly spend the next four to five days in Mumbai. Filming a “short but effective and action-packed cameo.” A source close to the situation was quoted in a report as saying, “It’s a big, dramatic action scene that’s a key part of the movie’s plot.”
“Sanjay Dutt arrived in Mumbai from his Leo shoot in Kashmir at noon on Sunday. The 24 hours later, he was all revved up to shoot an action scene with SRK on Jawan,” the insider revealed.
It’s worth noting that the two actors last appeared together in “Ra. One” (2011).
In his first film with Tamil director Atlee, titled “Jawan,” Shahrukh Khan would play two different characters. Besides Sanjay Dutt, Deepika Padukone, and Vijay, the cast also includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani.
The film ‘Jawan,’ produced by Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri’s company. ‘Red Chillies Entertainment,’ will premiere on June 2, 2023, in five languages. The original is in Hindi, and there will be dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
