The Bollywood actress unveiled the official FIFA World Cup trophy at Qatar’s Lusail Stadium on December 19, 2022, just hours before the final match between Argentina and France took off. The actress has brought honor to India in several fields outside of the film. Ranveer Singh, Deepika’s husband, recently revealed his reactions while witnessing Deepika present the trophy.
When Deepika presented the World Cup trophy, Ranveer Singh was really pleased.
Ranveer Singh told ETimes that seeing Deepika present the prize was an honor for him. In reference to the ‘big and wonderful’ FIFA World Cup held in Qatar, Ranveer added, “I was pleased to be there with my wife. Iker Casillas, the iconic Spanish custodian, was there to help her. Unveil the World Cup trophy, and he is a player I greatly respect. That night blew my mind. In case you missed it, Deepika Padukone attended the pre-game ceremony with 2010 World Cup-winning Spanish team captain Iker Casillas.
Deepika tweeted after the announcement, “From unveiling the FIFA World Cup Trophy to witnessing one of the greatest games in sporting history. I truly couldn’t have asked for more.” The actress from Bajirao Mastani wore a white shirt, a brown coat, and a black belt.
