Pakistani singer and performer Meesha Shafi has officially revealed her latest musical project, a cross-border collaboration with Indian singer-songwriter Talwiinder. After days of teasing fans on social media, Meesha confirmed that their upcoming single titled “Sachay Loki” is set to release this Friday.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Meesha posted the song’s striking cover art. It features her standing back-to-back with Talwiinder against the dramatic backdrop of a solar eclipse. She captioned the post with a Punjabi line that translates to, “When we stand together, flowers bloom like this,” highlighting the spirit of unity behind the collaboration. In the visuals, Meesha is seen wearing a shimmering chain-inspired headpiece. Meanwhile, Talwiinder sports his trademark face paint and bandana.
Talwiinder is no stranger to collaborations with Pakistani artists. In 2023, he joined hands with Hasan Raheem on the hit track “Wishes,” which ranked among Pakistan’s top 10 most-streamed songs in both 2024 and 2025. He also collaborated with emerging artists Afusic and Ali Soomro on a rendition of “Pal Pal,” which became the sixth most-streamed song in Pakistan on Spotify this year.
The announcement proves to be another milestone for Meesha Shafi. She released her debut album “Khilnay Ko” in May this year. Following the album’s strong reception, she submitted it for consideration at the Grammy Awards 2026 across three categories. This submission further cements her growing global presence.
With Sachay Loki, Meesha Shafi and Talwiinder continue to bridge musical borders. They promise a fresh sound that fans on both sides are eagerly awaiting.
