Actor Gauahar Khan thinks it’s great that DJ Khaled went to Mecca and did Umrah (an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca). Now, a video of the DJ getting choked up at the sight of the Kaaba has made its way onto the internet. Following DJ Khaled’s emotional tweet, Gauahar Khan responded, “Subhan Allah!” In Makkah, there are no social distinctions between the rich and the poor, the famous and the unknown, the working class and the upper class; we are all just regular guys who happen to have a lot of love and tears for God. There are no lessons available. To this day, people all over the world continue to walk in exactly the same direction around the Kabah. without any caveats.

Explaining his emotional response to his spiritual awakening in Mecca, he captioned his video: “The second I walked in Mecca, tears came down my eyes.” As a child, I prayed for more love, more life, more peace, more joy, more happiness, more health, and more protection for all of us as I made my way to Mecca to pray and give my gratitude to Allah. Indian superstar Gauahar Khan made the pilgrimage to Mecca. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was the most recent celebrity to perform the Umrah ritual. After marrying Zaid Darbar, an actor and content creator, Gauahar and her husband traveled to Mecca.
Gauahar told me that “it was my first time with Zaid and Zaid’s first time there as well.” We had a lot of good times together. Having prayers and pre- and post-fasting (iftar) meals together is a common practice among Muslims. We used it to its full potential. It was a perfect opportunity to draw closer to Allah through prayer. Having this kind of one-on-one time with God is something that simply cannot be put into words. When you finally get there, you will experience a profound emotional awakening.
