After a decade away from the big screen, Imran Khan has officially confirmed his return to Bollywood. He is coming back with a new Netflix romantic comedy titled Adhure Hum Adhure Tum.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor revealed that filming for the project has been completed. The movie is expected to premiere on Netflix later this year. Describing the film as a mature romantic comedy, Imran said it reflects the stage of life he is currently in.
“This is my first film in 10 years. It’s called Adhure Hum Adhure Tum. It’s a grown-up romantic comedy and feels true to where I am today,” he shared.
The upcoming film also stars Gurfateh Pirzada and reunites Imran with filmmaker Danish Aslam, who previously directed him in Break Ke Baad. According to Imran, the collaboration felt like a natural continuation of their creative journey.
The actor explained that both he and Danish have gained significant life experiences over the years. This experience has allowed them to tell a more mature and emotionally grounded story. He described the project as deeply personal, driven by a genuine desire to create meaningful cinema alongside close friends.
Imran also confirmed that the film has wrapped production and is currently in post-production.
The actor was last seen in Katti Batti (2015) alongside Kangana Ranaut. His return has generated excitement among fans. These fans have long awaited his comeback after memorable performances in films like Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
With Adhure Hum Adhure Tum, Imran Khan is set to begin a new chapter in his acting career. This marks one of Bollywood’s most anticipated comebacks.
