The first trailer for Netflix’s Mai series has just been released by the show’s creators. In the first two minutes and nine seconds of the video, a young lady called Supriya Chaudhary, who is mute and unable to communicate, is seen being molested.
In the aftermath of her daughter’s death in a truck accident, her mother, Sakshi Tanwar, vows to pursue justice for her daughter. These moments illustrate Supriya’s mother’s determination to discover her daughter’s murderer, who she believes is responsible for her daughter’s death.
