Pakistani actor Nimra Khan’s reported divorce from Zain Hamid has sparked widespread discussion. This happened after a statement allegedly shared from Hamid’s private Instagram account appeared to confirm the couple had ended their marriage.
According to the reported statement, the couple decided to part ways amicably because of “irreconcilable personal differences/choices.” The statement reportedly said the divorce took place on July 17. Meanwhile, the legal proceedings were being handled by their lawyers.
Hamid also reportedly said he did not intend to blame anyone and wished Nimra the best. He described the separation as difficult for both sides.
The situation gained attention after an earlier cryptic social media remark attributed to Hamid triggered speculation about the couple’s relationship. Nimra, meanwhile, shared messages focusing on self-worth, resilience and standing up against disrespect and injustice.
Several celebrities and friends, including Fiza Ali, Nida Yasir, Moomal and Mansha, publicly expressed support for Nimra. Their posts highlighted the importance of respecting both individuals involved in a separation. In addition, they offered words of encouragement to the actor.
Fiza Ali reportedly criticised the tone surrounding the divorce discussion. She stressed that the end of a marriage should not be treated as a victory over the other person.
Nimra’s posts have also resonated with followers, particularly her message encouraging women to choose themselves. The message said to move beyond painful experiences and protect their dignity.
Nimra Khan married Zain Hamid in May 2026. She was previously married to Raja Azam, with that marriage ending in divorce in 2021.
