Amidst the anticipation surrounding the 2024 general election results in Pakistan, major political parties have claimed victory despite allegations of rigging. With the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) securing 20 provincial assembly seats in the Karachi Division, the party hosted a vibrant celebration highlighted by the presence of a popular celebrity couple.

A video clip circulating on the internet captured Pakistani actors Hira and Mani attending MQM-P’s event in Karachi. Taking the mic from her husband, Hira addressed the enthusiastic crowd with a slogan praising the party’s leader, Mustafa Kamal.

“With Mustafa Kamal here, Karachi will flourish, and we, the women, will live in peace,” said the Kashf actor. “Our streets will be paved, we will claim our rights, and we will thrive because Mustafa Kamal is leading Karachi now.”

Ending her fervent speech on a high note, Hira delighted the audience by singing the title song from her hit 2019 drama series, “Meray Pass Tum Ho,” and encouraged everyone to join in the celebration.

Stepping onto the stage amidst cheers and applause, Mani congratulated MQM-P, expressing his astonishment, “I never imagined I’d be at an MQM Pakistan event. I spent my life opposing MQM, but there’s one person who brought me here, who always takes me to new places, and that’s Mustafa Kamal.”

In a heartfelt Instagram post in November, Hira captivated fans with a nostalgic journey through cherished memories. Sharing a series of images and videos capturing moments of joy and connection, the versatile artist conveyed a profound message alongside the visual snippets.

In her post, primarily in Urdu, Hira expressed the profound beauty she finds in the days spent with loved ones.
