Babar Azam Places in the Top Rankings of The Hundred Draft

Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, is one of the most expensive players selected in this year’s The Hundred competition draft.

Babar is one of 44 Pakistani cricketers who have registered for the 284-player draft for the eight separate teams on April 4. For this year’s Hundred, which begins on August 3, there are 17 spots available for international players in different organizations.

The Pakistani captain’s reserve price is £125,000, putting him among Chris Gayle, Mitchell Marsh, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Tabraiz Shamsi, and David Warner on the list of most expensive players.

The trio of Mohammad Aamir, Shadab Khan, and Haris Rauf have a £75,000 reserve price. The reserve price for Shoaib Malik and Naseem Shah is £50,000, while the basic price for Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim, and Shan Masood is £40,000.

Around 35 Pakistani players, including Mohammad Hafeez, Shahnawaz Dahani, Kamran Akmal, Azam Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, and Mohammad Nawaz, are listed without a reserve price.

Iftikhar Ahmed, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Qasim Akram, Anwar Ali, Asif Ali, Danish Aziz, Amad Butt, Shahnawaz Dahani, Mohammad Hafeez, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Ilyas, Arshad Iqbal, and Muhammad Irfan are among the Pakistani players who have been enlisted without

Imran Khan, Sajid Khan, Sohail Khan, Azam Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Waqas Maqsood, Usama Mir, Muhammad Nawaz, Usman Qadir, Rumman Raees, Abdullah Shafique, Yasir Shah, Ahmed Shehzad, Usman Shinwari, Haris Sohail, Hussain Talat, and Amir Yamin are also on the list.
