Renowned Bollywood icon, Amitabh Bachchan, aged 81, has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, undergoing angioplasty treatment to address a blood clot, as reported by News18. Although the specific cause prompting his medical attention remains undisclosed, sources cited by LiveMint affirm that Bachchan’s health concerns do not involve his heart.

Insiders revealed that the angioplasty procedure targeted a clot in his leg, not his heart, clarifying any misconceptions. Just before news of his hospitalization surfaced, Bachchan, affectionately known as Big B, expressed gratitude on X (formerly Twitter), with a heartfelt message.

In a separate social media update, he showcased a promotional video of his Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) team, Majhi Mumbai, rallying support with a spirited message.
