Ranbir Kapoor Discloses How Rishi Kapoor’s Last Film, Sharmaji Namkeen, Was Completed

The last picture directed by Rishi Kapoor may have been a classic in its own right. I don’t think so. After Rishi Kapoor passed away, Paresh Rawal stepped in to play Sharmaji Namkeen. There will be a trailer released shortly. The Kapoor family has paired together in an unorthodox manner to announce this on social media.

In a video that Neetu Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor’s wife, has posted, their son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, offers us a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this movie. The first thing he says is, “Hello. Sharmaji Namkeen has a unique quality that I’d like to share with you today. This film is just for me since it is my father’s last film, and I don’t want to waste my time on anything else. This film is important to me not just because it is the final film my father ever made, but also because my father really believed in the tale.”

That’s not all, Ranbir Kapoor continues “When the film is shot, my father’s tabiyat is kharab, and he wants it to be completed by someone else’s film. The universe, on the other hand, had different ideas. The show must go on, right? Although this may not be the case for everyone, I have personally seen this sentence being lived out by my father. [I recall that when Dad was ill during the production, he wanted to finish the picture as soon as possible]. It’s true that life sometimes has different ideas. This is a phrase you’ve heard before, but your dad experienced it firsthand. We were concerned that the picture wouldn’t be finished]”

According to Ranbir Kapoor, VFX or prosthetics on Ranbir’s face may have been used to finish the movie. Nothing seemed to be going his way. Ranbir thanks Paresh Rawal for taking on the part, saying: “His willingness to accept the task of portraying one of the film industry’s most unique characters was really gracious of him, given the rarity of such a job in the industry.

The fact that he accepted this task is a testament to Paresh ji’s generosity, since it is quite uncommon to witness two performers performing the same character in a film. Because to Paresh ji, we were able to finish Dad’s last film.” According to what he said after that, “As a child, it was one of the happiest times of my life. A grin spread over the faces of all those who saw him on the big screen. I’m hoping that this film would be a good example of what ap sab bhi humesha diya hai. The trailer for Kal Sharmaji Namkeen is here. It’s time to go. (I hope you all give this film as much love as you gave your father.) Next week, we’ll have the trailer out. Pay attention.”

The video was captioned by Neetu Kapoor, “This film has a special place in my heart.

When he first began watching the movie, I could see how eager he was to finish it. The film you’re about to see has a very significant message for you.” ‘Beyond exceptional’ was the statement made by her mother Riddhima Kapoor Sahni in the comment section. She’s also thrown in some love heart emojis for good measure. Alia Bhatt was next in line. A few red hearts have landed on the ground. Soni Razdan, Alia’s mother and a prominent Bollywood actress, described the performance as “wonderful and incredibly emotional.”
