Those photos from Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s reception are just too cute to pass up.
Nupur Shikhare posted two photos from his wedding reception with wife Ira Khan to Instagram on January 14. The duo looks absolutely radiant as they strike some delightful, carefree poses for the camera.
Nupur wore striking ethnic attire, while Ira chose a crimson-embroidered lehenga for the reception.
The caption that Shikhare wrote beside the photos read: “I want to be very married with you, bubs, @khan.ira.”
The wedding celebrations in Udaipur for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare started with a welcoming feast on January 7. The following day, there was a lively pajama party and a mehendi ceremony. The pair exchanged vows on January 10, following the Sangeet ceremony that took place on January 9. The four days of celebrations in Udaipur came to a close with a banquet for the invited guests. Many guests have already posted photos and videos from the wedding in Udaipur online. Many of the videos include Aamir Khan dancing to various tunes, including his own Aati Kya Khandala.
The couple’s proud father shared his joy and the range of emotions he felt throughout the wedding in an emotional post-wedding interview from Udaipur.
The elated Aamir said, “My emotion was like a Shehnaai (Clarinet)” in a video that Spice Social shared on their Instagram account. It’s a traditional shaadi instrument. Ek quality hoti hai ke vo aapko thodi si khushi bhi deti hai aur thodi si udaasi bhi deti hai, shehnaai mein…combination, ek mixture hota hai vo uska emotions ka shehnaai mein…khushi bhi hoti hai aur thodi udassi bhi hoti hai. You can’t help but feel both joy and sadness when you’re with Clarinet. So that’s how I feel.
