The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) anthem for the seventh edition of the premier competition was published by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday.
Atif Aslam, Aima Baig, and Abdullah Siddiqui star in the much-anticipated song “Agay Dekh.”
The PCB tweeted on its official Twitter account, sharing the official video of the anthem:
“The wait is now over. The official #PSL7 anthem is now available.”
Pakistani cricket has provided us with many memorable moments, and this year’s HBL PSL anthem encapsulates the country’s passion and culture. ‘Agay dekh’ encourages viewers to go beyond binary victories and defeats in order to enjoy the game in its simplest form. Those who become a part of this magnificent game, whether they are players or spectators, are devoted to it with all of their hearts.
We wanted to express how much we love cricket while also capturing the attitude, fierceness, and banter that comes with it.
Due to COVID-19 limitations, the HBL PSL was denied a home audience last year, but we will have people in the stands this year. The largest athletic event in Pakistan is a festival and a celebration, and the song honors everyone who looks forward to this time of year. “Agay dekh” is a phrase that means “agay dekh” in Arabic.
