Bollywood star Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, are rumored to be ending their 37-year-long marriage, according to recent reports. While neither has confirmed the news, sources claim that the couple has been living separately for some time due to lifestyle differences and personal struggles.
Living Separately Amid Marital Struggles
Reports indicate that Govinda’s alleged involvement with a Marathi actress may have contributed to the rift. Meanwhile, Sunita recently revealed that they live apart—Govinda stays in their bungalow, while she and their children reside in a separate apartment.
“Our bungalow is right across from our apartment. I stay in the flat with the kids, while Govinda prefers the bungalow due to his late meetings and social gatherings,” Sunita shared in an interview.
Sunita’s Views on Their Marriage
Despite their long journey together, Sunita hinted at dissatisfaction with their relationship, particularly Govinda’s workaholic nature.
“In my next life, I don’t want him as my husband! He never takes vacations. I enjoy going out, eating street food, and watching movies, but he is always busy. I don’t even remember watching a movie together,” she joked.

Govinda and Sunita secretly married in March 1987 and only revealed their relationship after the birth of their daughter, Tina Ahuja, in 1988. They later welcomed their son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, in 1997.
