Diwali is just around the corner. The festival of lights has to be the most loved and cherished festival for almost any and everyone. The preparations, the delicacies, the decor, everything comes into play. More often than usual we see how Indian homes start off with the preps at least a month in advance. Dressing and decking up is an integral part of this feel good festival. While, a lot of people have a lot of options to choose from, Sarees has to be the one which sets the hearts ringing.

Bollywood is never behind when it comes to things related with fashion. It is not just us but they too are super pumped when it comes to everything related to festivals. Sarees is an identity for an Indian woman. Not that it is a compulsion for women to be clad in it but it is safe to say that we Indian women look the best in it. Well, to make your job easier, listed below are some tips and ways our B’Town divas have donned the gorgeous six yards of sass.

Priyanka Chopra :

The newly wed won our hearts over with this particular Sabyasachi look. Priyanka opted for a red and white polka dot saree with a full sleeves red blouse. She opted for heavy chandbalis and a low hair bun.

Kareena Kapoor Khan :

We still cannot get over Kareena Kapoor Khan’s look from Diwali last year. The teal green silk saree won our hearts over for its simplicity. We love how she has kept her look minimal with a hint of red and that gorgeous neckpiece.

Deepika Padukone :

Red clearly is riding high. Since it is Diwali, we think you should opt for a deep red saree like Deepika. Indian women hands down look the best in red and Padukone gives us legit notes on how to dress and style one.

Katrina Kaif :

Pastels is definitely in and Katrina Kaif just showed us how to wear one. If you don’t want to wear a heavy saree then pick a floral saree in chiffon or georgette. Style it with a belt to add that modern day twist.

Sonam kapoor :

If you’re planning to go down the toned down road then opt for a off-white and dusted gold saree with scallop lace. Go for a center parted sleek hairdo with drop down earrings to complete the look.

Anushka Sharma :

Just like Katrina, if you’re wanting to go light yet want to wear a saree then you can pick a saree in light blue. Style it with messy hair, heavy chunky earrings and you’ll be super good to go.
