Popular Indian Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has expressed his desire to perform in Pakistan, stating he hopes to entertain his fans across the border in the near future. Speaking at the 2024 IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi, Singh shared his excitement in a viral social media clip, asking his fans to “pray” for his chance to perform in Pakistan.
Singh, known for his hit songs and collaborations, praised several iconic Pakistani artists, including Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Ali Azmat, and Atif Aslam. He also highlighted his Dubai performances, which attract a significant number of Pakistani fans. However, he acknowledged that many fans in Pakistan are eager to see him live in their homeland.
Confirming his upcoming tour, Singh revealed, “I’ll be heading to the UK for the first time next year, and if time permits, I would love to perform in Pakistan.”
Earlier, Singh also discussed his spiritual journey and exploration of Islamic teachings, which deeply influenced his outlook on faith after his recovery from illness in 2018.
