On Friday, the court dismissed her bail, citing a lack of pursuit of the case.

The fraud case involving actress Nazish Jahangir was initiated by fellow actress Azan Aswad Haroon, who claimed that Jahangir borrowed Rs 2.5 million and a car for two months but failed to return them within the agreed time frame.

While Jahangir’s bail was revoked, the court extended interim bail for her co-accused, Sikandar, until the first week of October.

This high-profile case has gained significant attention due to the involvement of two notable entertainment industry figures, shedding light on the legal challenges celebrities often face.

In 2020, Pakistani model and actress Nazish Jahangir was arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime wing in Karachi on charges of blackmail, harassment, and distributing fake content. Jahangir was arrested alongside actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider following a complaint from Haider’s ex-wife, Fatima Sohail.

Fatima Sohail took to social media to announce that after a prolonged legal battle, both Nazish and Mohsin were found guilty by the FIA of online harassment and circulating false information about her.

Sohail had previously accused Mohsin Abbas of domestic violence and claimed he had an extramarital affair with Nazish Jahangir.

Despite maintaining her innocence throughout the case, Nazish faced legal charges related to cyber harassment under Pakistani law.
