Mother’s Day is being celebrated in the United Kingdom today, and in honor of the occasion, Anand Ahuja shared a previously unseen photo of Sonam Kapoor and their son Vayu along with a touching note.
In honor of Sonam Kapoor’s first Mother’s Day, her husband Anand Ahuja has written her a touching letter.At the naming ceremony, Anand removed the photos of Sonam and Vayu. Both mom and son are wearing yellow. Sonam is shown looking tenderly down at her newborn son in the photo. This picture is the epitome of cuteness. In addition, Anand took the opportunity of Sonam’s first Mother’s Day to write her a heartfelt letter.
His comment read, “The ability to read and respond to other people’s emotions. Social cues are not one of my strong suits, as my girlfriend, Sonam Kapoor will attest. It wasn’t until I witnessed the dedication and sacrifice that @sonamkapoor has made over the past 17 months (and actually longer). This is for the sake of her own and our child’s emotional and physical well-being. I truly grasped the magnitude of the role of a full-time mother.
It has also served as a reminder of the roles she must play as a sister, wife, and girlfriend, as she guides our son through life with our large family in the hopes that he will flourish as an individual endowed with the benefits of our shared history but free from the constraints of any preconceived notions about how he should act or think. Seeing @sonamkapoor do all this has given me a newfound appreciation for the miracle of motherhood; I realize all this is cliche.
