Protests spread across the country after an attempt on Imran’s life.

When news of an attempt on the life of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party chief and ex-prime minister Imran Khan spread, PTI supporters across the country took to the streets in protest.

PTI supporters have reportedly begun congregating at the Peshawar Toll Plaza in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). There will be a demonstration at the toll booth involving all Peshawar district workers.Protests against the attempted assassination of the PTI chief turned violent, leading to the closure of the GT Road in Rawalpindi’s Chakbeli Mor neighborhood.

Protesters can expect to see a large number of district police and highway patrol officers at the location.

In Karachi, PTI members have gathered outside Insaf House on Sharea Faisal and are now making their way to the Metropole.

Protesters have blocked traffic, lit tyres on fire, and set vehicles ablaze. Passengers on both sides of the road are having a difficult time due to the blockade.Members of the PTI have also gathered in Rawalpindi’s Allama Iqbal Park. Ali Nawaz, a member of parliament for the party, and Khurram Nawaz, another member of parliament, are both presents.
