PM Imran Khan inaugurated two Shelter Homes in Islamabad for Homeless People

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan inaugurated two Shelter homes in Islamabad for homeless people who come to Islamabad to earn bread and butter for their families.

ICT (Islamabad Capital territory) administration runs this Panagah where ICT Officers perform their duties.

The shelter home called Panagah, provide food & residence facility to the homeless or visitors not able to afford temporary accommodation inside Islamabad. They also provide health facilities to patients having 24 hours of ambulance service.

Facilities inside Panagah includes LED screens, beds, chairs, tables, woolen caps, socks & more. Additionally, the ICRC has also donated an additional ambulance to make sure people get to the hospital in time in case of emergency.

Visitors include kids, females, young, special persons, and old age citizen as well. Anyone who can’t afford accommodation can go to this Panagah and can stay here for three nights because there are daily hundreds of entries who visit this place for living.

They have a separate living area (hall) for females as well and often homeless ladies stay there.
