Rakul Preet Singh, as we all know is spreading her talent wings down South and in Bollywood. The stunner has been running back and forth the entire time to complete the shooting of her upcoming films. While she is busy with the promotions of Marjaavaan, Rakul has two Tamil films and one Telugu movie in her kitty. Recently, during an interview with TOI, Rakul Preet Singh shared how it is different working in South and in Hindi Cinema. She also spoke about how ‘it’s critical to add a personal touch’ while working in Bollywood.
Rakul was asked if she meant about attending film parties is necessary to bag opportunities in Bollywood. To this, she replied, “No, that’s not what I meant. In Bollywood, it’s more about the personal touch you have with people, you reach out yourself for the kind of films you want to be a part of. Also, let me tell you, nobody is going to give you work just because you attended a party.
It helps to touch base with everyone, but only good work begets more work. Today, content is what matters and because of that, there is an increasing demand for talent. If you are talented, it might take time, but at the end of the day, you will find your place. Mumbai and Hyderabad are both very welcoming that way. They also appreciate hard-work. If you are hard-working, people are ready to give you a chance.”
Meanwhile, talking about Marjaavaan, the film sees Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra reuniting on screen after their film Aiyaary (2018). While Rakul will be seen in an extended cameo in Marjaavaan, Tara Sutaria plays the female lead.
