Malala Yousafzai and her family pay a visit to the Dubai Expo 2020.

A delegation led by Malala Yousufzai and her family paid a visit to the Pakistan pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020, where she was honored with a Nobel Peace Prize. They were accompanied by her husband Asser Malik and their children.

Malala was joined by Shehzad Roy, an education campaigner and Malala Fund partner. They explored the “Pakistan’s Hidden Treasure” exhibit and the Women’s Pavilion.

“My family and I went Expo2020Pak and observed displays honoring Pakistan’s culture, religion, landscapes, and people,” she posted on Twitter. I hope that everyone who pays a visit is encouraged to learn more about our lovely nation.”

Ms. Rassam, a Pakistani-Canadian artist, produced the world’s biggest Holy Quran on exhibit.

Malala told Media that she was proud of the Pakistani culture represented at the pavilion.

“Our nation is blessed to have such talented individuals. This pavilion would not exist without Shahid Rassam and his team.

There was a video posted by the Pakistan Expo 2020 on Twitter with the caption: “The Pakistan Pavilion was privileged to have Pakistani activist for gender equality and Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai as well as her husband Mr MalikAsser as well as the rest of her family visit our Pavilion today.”
