Cattle Feeding in Rural Areas of KP

Fodder, a type of animal feed, is an agricultural foodstuff used specifically to feed domesticated livestock, such as cattle, goats, sheep, chickens in the native village of Mardan, a Second largest city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

Green food for cattle’s not only meets the fodder requirement but also minimizes the cost of feeding. Though in Pakistan, it is available during most part of the year, it is difficult to maintain its regular supply.

Youngest daughter of the family brings green food from farms, elder sister has to be supposed to wash & clean it before giving it to cattle’s. Mother helped her daughter to clean this food from dust and mud and then give it to cattle’s.

They clean up the place & make dung cakes from their waste material. Get them dry those dung cakes in order to use them as fuel for cooking in their kitchen.
