Pakistani American Press Association (PAPA) invited Ikram Sehgal (Pakistani defense analyst and security expert) to its forum. While speaking to the event, Mr. Sehgal who has also served as a Director of the EastWest Institute (EWI), a US-based think-tank among several other key international institutions, elaborated that Islamic countries could depend on the goodwill of the people of the United States as well its judicial system to ensure that racial discrimination is not institutionalized.

Washington DC: The government is considering appointing Ali Jahangir Siddiqui, the son of a renowned businessman, as Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, sources said.
However, there was no official confirmation of the development. Both the Prime Minister Office and foreign ministry were tightlipped.
It is also not clear whether the government has sent his name to Washington for formal approval. Ambassadors are only appointed when the host country formally gives its assent. Read more
