The first trailer for Shahid Kapoor featuring the upcoming film, Bloody Daddy, an official remake of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche, has been released. Shahid Kapoor plays a slick yet ruthless man in this Ali Abbas Zafar-directed movie who easily dispatches thugs with just a knife.
Bloody Daddy trailer also features Sanjay Kapoor, who is visibly upset by the violence of the conflict. Diana Penty, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Ronit Roy also make cameos. The Times of India calls Bloody Daddy a stylized, relentless, action-packed ride,” promising mafia, drugs, cops, family, and lots of blood.
Shahid Kapoor, who plays the lead role in Bloody Daddy, recently told reporters at an event. He enjoyed doing action onscreen and he and co-star Ali got along great. He said he had a better grasp of action choreography thanks to his background in dance.
“I had a great time. Working with Ali was fantastic, and I had a blast making an action movie. Shahid Kapoor has a deep familiarity with the style. The current conundrum is how to adapt such a massive OTT project for the cinematic experience. It’s been a lot of fun, but we need to figure out how to make it even better,” the 42-year-old actor said.
Shahid Kapoor said, “I can memorize stuff quickly. Unfortunately, many problems arose during filming because of COVID. A few of the action directors hail from London and Hollywood rather than the local area. They had trouble getting visas, and when they finally arrived, they feared the worst. But because I’ve danced so much, I was able to learn the moves really quickly,” he explained.
“You lose about a kilogram a day,” Shahid Kapoor said, explaining the extreme difficulty of becoming an actor. To paraphrase, “But you have to look really buff; I don’t know how Tiger (Shroff) does it.”
In the new Amazon Prime series Farzi, Shahid played a con artist. The actor has expressed apprehension about adapting his upcoming film, Bloody Daddy, for a theatrical release.
