Pakistan American Press Association hosted a dinner in honor of visiting members of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists

WASHINGTON DC: Ambassador Aizaz Chaudhry has said that Pakistan intends to strengthen its bilateral relations with the United States, based on mutual respect and dignity. He was addressing a distinguished gathering of Pakistani Journalists at a dinner hosted by Pakistani American Press Association (PAPA). The dinner was also attended by a delegation of prominent Pakistani journalists including President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Mr. Afzal Butt and President National Press Club (NPC) Mr. Shakeel Anjum who is currently visiting the United States of America. Record 170 Documentary Features Submitted for 2017 OSCAR® Race

One hundred seventy features have been submitted for consideration in the Documentary Feature category for the 90th Academy Awards. That’s 25 more than 2016. Assuming they all book their qualifying runs in New York and Los Angeles, the members of the documentary branch have just a few more weeks to see as many films as possible and file their votes for the shortlist of 15 to be announced in December. They’re each supposed to watch an assigned list of about 20 films, plus as many more as they can. Read more
