If Trump Won’t Protect the Free Press Abroad, Maybe America’s J Schools Can

Donald Trump has recently turned his long-running attacks on the news media up a notch. Last week, he devoted most of what was supposed to be a speech in support of a Republican candidate to deriding what he called the “fake, fake disgusting news.” In late July, after a public spat with the publisher of The New York Times, he tweeted that journalists are “unpatriotic” when they report on “internal deliberations of our government”—that is when they do their jobs. “Don’t believe the crap you see from these people, the fake news,” he previously told a veterans group. “What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.”

Mahira Khan’s Hair-Flip Will Be Remembered By The French Riviera (Cannes 2018)

Mahira Khan’s Cannes debut was a blockbuster, hands down. She made a stunning appearance on the red carpet and her fashion game for the other events related to the film festival was just on point. While it is difficult to get over her stylish pictures from the French Riviera, Mahira teased us with yet another post and she’s making us a fan of her hair-flip (‘the French way’). Dressed in pale blue trousers, white shirt and a blazer for an interactive session at the Cannes Film Festival, Mahira shared a Boomerang video and captioned it as, “Palat, the French way.” Take a look.
